If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular  beginner scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.

You will learn all the skills and theory you need to get you started in diving, qualified to 18m with a buddy with the same qualification or better.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

•    Knowledge Development (online, home study or in a classroom ) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
•    Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
•    Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!

If you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience or resort course, the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification.

Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Open Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must:
•Be 10 years or older (PADI eLearning requires a minimum age of 13 years due to international internet laws, and be able to swim 200m & tread water for 10 minutes

Options
The PADI Open Water course has some options depending on what you want from your diving.
PADI Scuba Diver ~ the 1st half of the Open Water Course, qualifies you to 12m with a PADI professional
PADI Open Water Referral ~ Pool & Theory sessions ~ ideal if you plan to do your open water dives abroad

For the Kids ~ For children aged 8-10 PADI Seal Team ~ this is a pool based course for younger children, over 5 weeks they will learn the basics under close supervision of an instructor, counts towards Open Water certification once they turn 10.
