Discover Scuba Diving
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it.
While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
You need to be over 10 and generally fit, there is a medical questionaire to complete. Bring with you swimwear and a t-shirt to wear in the pool.
The session lasts around 2 hours and includes some basic theory and then off to the pool, groups ar small, usually no more than 4.
Costs: £15 per person, or 2 for £20 ~ the cost of the DSD is credited towards your Open Water course if you sign up within 1 month
Bubblemaker
What a great way to introduce children to scuba diving in a pool in less than six feet of water. It’s fun, easy and safe.
Kids can join in the family fun of scuba diving or even start a trend! Children should be comfortable in the water, but they don’t have to be super swimmers. With youngsters in mind, the maximum depth is 2m/6ft
A parent needs to be present, although not necessarily in the water.
Children need to be 8 or over, sessions are usually one to one, with groups no bigger than 2.
Costs: £20 per child, add a Bubblemaker Crewpack for £20 (includes beach towel, log book, toy and other items) ~ £20 credited towards PADI Seal Team Course

Qualified Diver Experiences
Scuba Review
Has it been a while since your last dive? Want to get back into it for a holiday or a course, or just for the sake of it?
Then you need a Scuba Tune Up. This session will refresh you dive theory and skills, and prepare you and your equipment for the open water.
Scuba review is also usefull for Junior Open water divers wishing to cross over to full certification, and for PADI Open Water referral students wanting to refresh prior to open water dives.
You will refresh your theory, this can either be done using e-learning (see link above) or PADI's Scuba Tune Up Manual. Then off to the pool to refresh your skills, bring your own kit if you have it. There is also an option to add an open water session to further increase your confidence.

Discover Tec
DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures.
You learn about technical diving and get to try it out. Plus, Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards the Tec 40 course.
You will need your basic scuba gear and you will try technical scuba diving equipment
To participate in Discover Tec Diving, you must:
•Be a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
•Have a minimum of 10 logged dives
•Be at least 18 years old
Costs: £35 ~ credited towards Tec 40 if you sign up in under 1 month
All courses can be run any week to suit your needs
